Il 25 marzo e' l'anniversario dell'elettricita', istituito da NEC nel settembre 1927.
In questo giorno nel 1878, infatti, durante l'apertura della Central Telegraph Station, per la prima volta vennero accese 50 luci ad arco in una sala da cerimonie.

1878(明治11)年、東京・銀座木挽町に開設された中央電信局の開局祝賀会が
虎ノ門の工部大学校(現在の東京大学工学部)で開かれ、式場に50個のアーク灯が点灯されました。
