9 Gennaio e'il giorno del raffreddore風邪の日. Questo giorno in commemorazione della morte del famoso lottatore Tanikaze Kajinosuke (谷風 梶之助), che si dice sia morto nel 1795 per un'infezione dell'influenza.

谷風（谷風梶之助）が感染のため死去したことから風邪の日と言われています。
まだ４５歳で現役だった谷風は、４年間不敗の快記録を樹立、1782年まで６３連勝するという無敵ぶ
